A family quilt restored

Roger Souder believes either his great granmother or one of his great-aunts made this quilt, one of the most popular patterns of the 1930's and 40's. Roger remembers it as the cover for the family cedar chest.  The quilt was crudely patched on the back to cover where an entire area of the front was missing.  BAQ, removed the large patch from the back and stitched the rip back together. Restoration was done on ten of the gardens, replacing torn blocks with vintage fabric of similar color and design.  Roger has never seen it in this great of shape and plans to enjoy it for years to come.
